Sands Muslim Care Box Prof
Sands Muslim Care Boxes are a valuable tool for maternity staff and funeral directors to support parents who are preparing for a Muslim funeral for their baby. Each box contains faith-specific items: a cotton shroud, alcohol free oud, prayer beads presented in a velvet box, and a book, 'A Gift for the Bereaved Parent' by Zamir Hussain. Each box also includes the same contents as our general memory boxes: a hand and footprint kit, a baby details booklet, a certificate, a knitted blanket, two small teddy bears, a keychain and information about Sands support.
If a baby has died and the family you are helping has already held the funeral, you may find it helpful to request a different box which can be used to keep precious items.
